sales tax

All European Union (EU) orders are subject to EU Sales Tax (VAT).  This is included in the prices on this website, where they are quoted in Pounds Sterling/£ and Euros/€.  If your order is for delivery within the European Union, you must pay in either Pounds Sterling/£ or Euros/€.  If you make a mistake and order in USD/$ we will add EU Sales Tax to your order.

The USD/$ prices exclude EU VAT, please order in USD/$ to avoid paying EU VAT for non EU deliveries.

Any purchases, for non-EU delivery, made in Euros/€ or Pounds Sterling/£ will be charged at the quoted Euro/€ or Pounds Sterling/£ price and the VAT element will be offset against additional handling costs.

If this is a problem, for instance if your card is registered in the EU so you want to pay in € or £, but you are living and/or working outside the EU, then please call us on +44 (0) 845 094 1141 and we will try to sort something out.

Duty and Customs Tax

Now for the really grim part, if your order is for delivery outside the European Union (so no EU Sales Tax applies) it may attract your local import duty and sales tax on arrival.  This usually has to be paid when you receive your order.  We are required to put a Customs Declaration on your order to be able to mail it.

As Duty and Sales Tax are locally imposed taxes they will vary from country to country.  So although we will not charge you EU Sales Tax you may still have to pay Local Sales Tax and/or import duties when your order arrives.
