Why not go all out to make this Valentine’s extra special for your lover, they’re worth it, right? Here are a few of our favourite date ideas, go on, spoil them…

1. A romantic night in with YES

Staying in is the new going out! Cosy up with your other half this Valentine’s Day with a romantic candlelit bath or sensual shower and a box of chocolates. We recommend Booja Booja’s organic chocolate truffles, heaven!. If a water-based lubricant is your usual preference, you’ll really enjoy our YES WB natural lubricant, moisturising and condom-compatible. Or maybe you prefer oil-based lube? YES OB natural lubricant is made from plant-oils so is super gently, soft in texture with great longevity and glide. YES OB can’t be used with condoms but it’s great for sex toys and water play – ideal for that bubble bath or sensual shower!

2. Explore the great outdoors

Get out of the house and into nature! Pack a basket with prosecco and strawberries for a picnic for two and partake in a spot of star gazing or pitch up a tent and roast marshmallows on a campfire. Wrap up warm though, after all it’s February! Once you’ve been out in the cold, we suggest you revert to suggestion 1 to warm up!

3. Take a cooking class

Taking part in an activity together is a great way for couples, particularly in long-term relationships, to reconnect. Sharing an experience such as learning a new skill is a great way to bond and create new memories! Why not make something yummy to share afterwards then revert to suggestion 1 - again!

4. Get tipsy at an organic wine tasting

Davenport Vineyards in Sussex are a Soil Association-approved, organic brand that offer a variety of events throughout the year including new product launches and wine tastings. Sedlescombe Organic Vineyard also offer a tour for two and wine tasting package. An ideal Valentine’s gift for a wine connoisseur and the ideal way to get in the mood for suggestion 1 as part 2 of your date! (some of you may be seeing a theme developing…)

5. Indulge in a sensual massage

Turn your Valentine’s Day celebrations into a weekend away and treat yourself to a spa retreat for two. Book a couples massage during your stay so that both you and your partner can relax and unwind together. Did you know that YES® OB also doubles up as a easily absorbed, rich and sensuous massage oil so you can recreate the experience in the comfort of your own bedroom together? No need to revert to suggestion 1 here…!

6. Try something new…

Tick something off your bucket list together! Note down a list of activities with your partner that you’ve never done before and turn your experience into a Valentine’s Day date! Perhaps something exhilarating… A hot air balloon ride? A sky dive? A new position? Try our YES BUT maybe..? A handy hint, if you do something energetic you may want some YES OB for a soothing massage for those aching muscles later on.

7. Single? Valentine’s Day is for you too!

You don’t need a date to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Use it as an opportunity to really pamper yourself, a gorgeous meal, a luxurious bath, some quality me time; maybe even topped off with your favourite YES product lavished on an exciting new toy for the ultimate in wonderful self-love.
