I have no hesitation in recommending YES to patients. I love the fact they are free of known endocrine disruptors and potential vulvo-vaginal irritants. I have given the products to postnatal moms, to peri-menopausal women, and to women recovering from cancer or dealing with pelvic pain. My patients love them and I love to be able to confidently recommend them, for both health and pleasure.

I recommend YES to my patients because it is the product I have the most confidence in. I know it has a body similar pH which is so important for the vaginal microbiome and also that it does not contain any substances known to cause irritation or harm.

As a physical therapist specializing in pelvic health and breast cancer rehab YES is the brand of choice for my clinic.

I appreciate that the lubricants and vaginal moisturizer are formulated to match the pH of the vaginal mucosa and are made without parabens, mineral oil and other chemicals which can irritate the vulva.

YES as a company goes beyond industry standards by being certified organic and their customer service and staff are the best of the best.

I work as a specialist Nurse seeing patients with vulval pain and discomfort. I have found having 'YES' samples to give to my patients a real benefit.

My patients are not at all afraid or apprehensive about using these products because they have no additives or chemicals which may cause further skin irritation.

The benefits my patients have found include not just the lubrication side but also for 'putting moisture back down there'.

Women undergoing treatment for cancer may experience unwanted changes to their vaginal mucosa. Uncomfortable and sometimes painful vaginal dryness is one commonly reported symptom of treatment. The body is made up of more than 50% water, which naturally contains salts, sugars and other dissolved substances. Osmolality describes the concentration of these substances within that water and plays an important role in how moisture moves in and out of tissues.

Vaginal tissue depends on the correct moisture balance to remain comfortable and healthy. A water-based, iso-osmotic vaginal moisturiser is formulated to match the natural fluid levels of the vagina, allowing it to rehydrate dry tissue without drawing moisture out or forcing excess water in. This helps prevent irritation and supports long-lasting hydration and comfort.

Products that are not correctly balanced can disrupt sensitive vaginal tissue. Choosing a natural, pH-matched, iso-osmotic moisturiser helps minimise the risk of irritation and can be used alongside other treatments, such as prescribed hormonal creams, when applications are spaced a few hours apart.

Mucous membranes are the moist layer of semi-permeable tissue lining the mouth, nose, eyes, vagina, tip of the penis and gastro-intestinal tract. Because they do not have the protective layer (Stratum corneum) found on the surface of the outer skin, mucous membranes can be damaged, irritated and penetrated by synthetic chemicals much more easily.

Most old style lubricants are primarily made of synthetic chemicals, some with known or suspected safety issues, such as skin irritants, penetration enhancers or oestrogen mimicking properties. A few lubricant manufacturers do not even declare their ingredients.

The ingredients used in all YES products are selected with the needs of the mucous membranes in mind, with no known skin or mucosal irritants:

  • No Grapefruit seed extract
  • No Glycerin
  • No Parabens – Parabens, i.e. Methylparaben,
  • No Propylene glycol
  • No L-Arginine
  • No Petroleum by-products such as Mineral Oil (Liquidum Paraffinum), Petrolatum (petroleum jelly), Paraffin oil (lamp oil or premium Kerosine) or Paraffin wax.
  • No Silicone oils such as Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone or Dimethicone Copolyol.

Yes products do not contain oestrogen. The purity and distinctive formulations of Yes products make them uniquely suitable for women recovering from cancer.

Many lubricant products are preserved with methyl paraben, which is an oestrogen mimic, and contraindicated for anyone who has had an oestrogen receptor positive cancer.

Vaginal dryness is experienced by many women who are recovering from cancer, Breast care nurses and oncologists are very happy to recommend Yes intimate moisturisers to their patients, confident that they will safely provide real relief from dryness without compromising their recovery or challenging their immune systems.

Yes is known to cherish and nurture precious and sometimes traumatised intimate tissue.

Women’s health guides

A recent study by the British Menopause Society on oestrogen deficiency symptoms in women treated for breast cancer advises that the first-line treatment for vaginal dryness should be a vaginal moisturiser or lubricant.

YES® natural intimate lubricants and moisturisers have become a valued addition to the survivorship programme, supporting sexual well-being in women who have had treatment for gynaecological and breast cancers. When radiotherapy, chemotherapy or surgery have affected sexual function and have caused the distress and discomfort of vaginal dryness, it is vital that the purest possible non-hormonal solution is offered.

To resolve vaginal dryness without hormones or synthetic chemicals means that firstly the dry tissues need to be rehydrated by the regular use of a water-based moisturiser, and secondly, restoring intimacy will often require the use of an intimate lubricant that offers superior, long-lasting, non-sticky glide.

Up to 90% of post-menopausal women experience vaginal dryness, making this one of the most frequent symptoms of perimenopause and menopause women report. Our research suggests women are more likely to reach out to their doctor for support with this symptom than ever before thanks to the profile menopause has gained in recent years. Demand for hormone free solutions is growing alongside the demand for HRT .

YES products offer pH matched relief from menopausal vaginal dryness symptoms, which designed and manufactured in accordance with medical device regulations. YES® continues to work alongside some of the leading minds and organisations in menopause treatment to provide the best support and resources we provide to healthcare professionals and patients.
